Three types of download jobs can be easily initiated: standard, video and torrent downloads. In addition, it also allows you to create magnet links for those files you are willing to share via P2P. Moreover, you can also create auto-download tasks, which are scheduled to start at a given time. These tasks are automatically categorized, and you will receive update information as to the state of each of them, including current download rate, time left, percentage of completion, etc. The program integrates with your antivirus client, thus allowing you to scan every download when it has been completed and before you actually put your computer in danger. It also integrates with the system by monitoring Windows clipboard. This way, whenever you copy a URL to the clipboard, this application will offer to create a download task accordingly. This method is quite convenient because you will not need to copy and paste the desired URLs.
In general, Jordy Downloader is a fine application. It can do exactly what its developers claim. Of course, the main advantage you may expect from a downloader is speed and Jordy Downloader is quite fast. Unfortunately, it does not integrate with browsers for video download.
